Group Managing Director of CMC Connect (Perception Managers), Mr. Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, has been honoured by the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) with the ‘Bob Ogbuagu Leadership Award’for positively impacting the Nigerian PR profession and inspiring younger practitioners.
The award was presented to him at the2017 edition of the Lagos PR Industry Gala & Awards (LaPRIGA) themed 'Celebration of Success’ which held at Four Points by Sheraton on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) Induction 2017 was a series of events namely; #1Mother1Child Awareness Walk, Leadership Workshop, and Induction Dinner & Awards on 15thDecember 2017.
The #1Mother1Child Awareness Walk is crucial in spreading the word about the #1Mother1Child initiative of AWLO to give children from poor backgrounds a fair chance at education. The walk constituted a huge turn up of women leaders and Young women of AWLO.
Shortly after the walk was Dr. Violet Arene’s session on the Power of Purpose Driven Leadership with women leaders. This enlightening hangout engaged women leaders in practical exercises, and discussions, as Arene inspired with countless nuggets. GSSA Old Boys Association Donates N6M Sick Bay to School in Afikpo

Government Secondary School Afikpo Old Boys Association (GSSAOBA), Abuja branch has commissioned a N6million ultra-modern sick bay at its Alma Mater in Afikpo, Ebonyi State, Nigeria. This noble gesture, according to the association, is part of its commitment to improving quality of secondary school education in Nigeria and schooling experience for the present and future students of the School in Afikpo.
The commissioning ceremony was part of activities lined up by the Abuja branch of GSSAOBA for its President’s Year-End Meeting and Annual Thanksgiving Service which usually takes place in Abuja, but was moved to Afikpo this year in order to celebrate with the students and the school’s authorities while the school was still in session.

UNIVERSITY OF NIGERIA SECONDARY SCHOOL NSUKKA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION FUND RAISING AND GALA NIGHT  IS 8TH – 9TH DECEMBER 2017 The University of Nigerian Secondary School started its operation on the 11th of January 1983, superseded by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Nigeria Professor Frank N Ndili.
The school have since then been in existence till date, producing men and women of great value in the society.
Over the years, the school have been headed and governed by amazing individuals who acted in the capacity of the principal of the university of Nigeria secondary school Nsukka.

The university of Nigeria secondary school however just like the educational system in Nigeria, have gone through many huddles which has challenged and is still challenging its mission up till date.
